Biography

Theatre:

I have over a decade of experience in developing and managing large creative teams with six years of experience in arts producing, specifically in relation to outdoor work, and fourteen years in the creative industries following my graduation from the two-year course at the Lecoq school in Paris. Whilst there I trained, and now specialise in, movement based devised theatre practise, technical movement analysis, clown and puppetry.

Since then, I have regularly secured both public and commercial funding for artistic projects and managed a portfolio of work in both the UK, Europe and Africa. Alongside this I have also taught movement and puppetry at some of Europe’s leading institutes for theatre training including the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and the Central School of Speech and Drama.

Over this period key collaborators on artistic projects have included companies and organisations including The Royal Opera House, The Camden Roundhouse, The Royal Academy of Music, Boom Town Festival, Le Louvre, National Theatre Wales, The British Museum, Tanz Theatr Wuppertal Pina Bausch, Amnesty International, Annish Kapoor, Ai Wei Wei and Akram Khan.

In 2022 I was the Senior Producer for Community at the Wales Millennium Centre, as well as being named as one of twenty people selected from the UK for a 2020/21 UK Creative Community Fellowship from the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, National Arts Strategies & Derby Museums.

Television:

In 2023 I been working in television as an Assistant Director on televison programmes including Casualty, Doctor Who and Lost Boys and Fairies for the BBC, as well as Industry for HBO, The Way for Little Door and Rivals for Disney+. Most recently I have been working on location across Western Australia, South America, South East Asia and South Africa as a reference puppeteer on a high profile project that’s currently under NDA.
