FIRST, I stepped out singing a song.
Originally from Wales, I am an Oxford based graduate of L'Ecole Internationale de Theatre Jacques Lecoq in Paris, where I completed the professional programme under Jos Houben, Paoula Rizza, Jason Turner, Francois Lecoq, Suzanna Lestratto and Christophe Marchant. During this period, I also co-founded the award winning Rhum and Clay Theatre Company.
My current role is that of Associate Artist at the Newbury Corn Exchange Theatre and the 101 Outdoor Arts Creation Space and will be working with the theatre over the next 12 months to create a number of new pieces of work. These will be a digital virtual reality project working with the local homeless communities in the South East, a piece of touring street clowning with a participant cast of older people aged 60+, assistant directing Greenham War and Peace alongside Sophie Austin of Teatro Vivo and a mid-scale outdoor touring show that will be aimed at young audiences and families in collaboration with Heartbreak Productions.
I will also be producing the Festival of Light at the Bromsgrove Artrix Theatre.
I have also been an associate lecturer at The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, Northampton University and currently Winchester University.
