SECOND, Julian came up and said, 'Lets go together.' And we both went along singing songs.

I am an associate artist of the Newbury Corn Exchange Theatre, the 101 Outdoor Arts Creation Space and the Artrix Arts Centre and associate lecturer in Theatre for Children and Young People a Winchester University. I am also a graduate of L'Ecole Jacques Lecoq in Paris, where I co-founded the award winning Rhum and Clay Theatre Company.

Recent work includes the research and development phase of Vineland Clubhouse, a virtual reality project with the homeless community of Oxfordshire and The Intergalactic Caravan, a touring outdoor clowning project for the over 65’s. Alongside these projects I also assistant directed and led the community participation section for the large scale, site-specific piece Greenham: 100 years of War and Peace on the ex-US cruise missile base on Greenham common performed to audiences of between four to five thousand people per night. In December, I was commissioned to direct The Festival of Light, for the Artrix Arts Centre and Bromsgrove District Council where we brought around one thousand people into the street with a large scale lantern based promenade spectacle lead through the streets by a 20ft bunraku giant puppet.

I have previously worked with companies such as The National Theatre of Wales, The Elevator Repair Service Theatre Company in New York on Gatz, Le Louvre in Paris for their nocturne events and The British Museum on the choreography for their Ice Age exhibition publicity. Alongside this, as a movement artist I have performed in the ensemble with Tanz Theatre Wuppertal Pina Bausch on the World Cities tour at Sadlers Wells in Viktor and Nur Du as well as with both The National Ballet of Canada and The Royal Academy of Music in Romeo and Juliet. I have also collaborated with The Clod Ensemble and The Queen’s Gallery, Buckingham to create a movement based practice based on the Leonardo da Vinci anatomical drawings. Most recently, I worked with David Rosenberg (SHUNT) and The Camden Roundhouse on a commission for Glastonbury Festival with a digital technologies piece using binaural sound design titled The Prayer Room.
